Getting thereAbout 10km south of Larnaca International Airport, roughly 15 minutes by car. A car is recommended via the coastal roads from Kiti or Pervolia; free parking directly on the dirt flats behind the surf houses. Established schools like Kahuna and WindBandit anchor the main access point.
HazardsPebbles and small stones on the shoreline need careful footwork during launch. Genuinely safe and beginner-friendly, but respect the clear separation between the dedicated kiteboarding zone and nearby windsurfing/swimming areas.
Best time of dayAfternoon, May-September, as the SW thermal sea breeze fills in around midday and peaks 2-5pm. Reliable cross-onshore tracking and predictable chop in this window.
