Shallow lagoon on the inland side of the Frontignan lido, with the Mediterranean a couple of hundred metres the other way, so there is almost always a calm side. Flat, warm and shallow with a deeper drop-off — forgiving water to learn a dock start on. Free parking and toilets at the beach. The lagoon is now reserved for the schools after friction with the local fishermen, so launching here on your own is no longer accepted.
