Getting thereFrom Le Grau-du-Roi take Route de l'Espiguette to the Baronnets natural car park. Paid Apr–Sep (approx. €7/day for cars, reduced after 16:30); free in winter. Then ~600–800 m walk over the boardwalk/dunes to the kite zone. Height barrier (vehicles under 2 m).
HazardsMarked swimming zone in summer — stay outside the yellow buoys. Strong current possible when the Rhône is high. Summer SW thermal can shift offshore. Natura 2000 protected dunes — stay on marked paths.
Best time of dayTramontane (NW) for cleanest conditions; summer afternoon thermal (SW) also works but watch for the offshore shift.
