Getting thereYanbu sits on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, roughly 350km north of Jeddah — the most accessible serious kite destination in the country for visitors flying in. The kite zone is north of the main corniche, near Al Nawras Island, an 11km developed island area with parking, green spaces, and family amenities.
HazardsA genuinely approachable spot for the region — sandy bottom with minimal coral hazard specifically in the launch zone, and a roughly 2km shallow flat-water area. Cross-shore wind direction gives a manageable side-to-side run rather than a straight offshore risk.
