Getting thereFly into Jazan Airport (GIZ), take a taxi to Jazan Port, and board the twice-daily ferry to the Farasan Islands (about 1 hour sailing). A rental car or pre-arranged local transport on the island is recommended to reach the remote beach zones. Free public parking at the primary access point near Al-Hassiss Beach; no standard entry fees.
HazardsShallow waterways and sandbanks have tidal variations and strong underwater currents that can catch out less experienced riders. No dedicated rescue boat services or kite infrastructure on these remote shorelines — self-rescue skills are essential, not optional. Watch for localized fishing nets and wooden stakes near the coast, especially during local fishing seasons.
