The small harbour at Torre Vado on the Salento tip, and the best rock-start ground on this coast: a concrete slipway, two rock breakwaters to step off and the shallow shelf the village is known for. Three public showers and toilets right at the harbour, free street parking along the front, paid lots inland, cafés and restaurants next door. Depth off the rocks is knee to thigh in places, so the sea state and the exact rock decide the session.
