Getting thereSouthern Netanya, about 40km north of Tel Aviv, roughly 35 minutes via Highway 2. A car is needed; parking in the large paid municipal lot at Ramat Poleg Beach. The southern end near the river estuary is the standard staging area.
HazardsHeavy beach crowds and a designated motorized marine craft zone to stay clear of. Watch for powerful shorebreak and strong longshore current during high-wind winter storms or building summer NW swells.
Best time of dayAfternoon, once daily thermal heating builds the standard Mediterranean sea breeze to peak. Summer afternoons are the most predictable side-onshore window.
