Notably, this is one of the only spots on Israel's crowded coast with no seasonal or weekend kitesurfing restrictions at all โ a real practical advantage over Tel Aviv, just south.

Getting thereAbout 45km north of Tel Aviv, roughly 40 minutes via Highway 2. A car is essential to reach the dedicated Israel Parks and Nature Authority lot, which charges a day-use entry fee (roughly 23 Shekels). The main nature reserve beach access near the Alexander River mouth is the best staging area.
HazardsThe Alexander River mouth creates localized current, and sandbars can produce sudden shallow spots. This is a highly regulated area with strict designated zones separating kiters from swimmers and windsurfers โ violations can bring real municipal fines.
Best time of dayAfternoon, when the thermal sea breeze combines with prevailing Mediterranean wind for stable side-onshore conditions. Summer afternoons are reliable but busy โ early weekday afternoons are best for avoiding crowds.
