A tiny lakeside village squeezed beneath sheer cliffs on Lake Garda's western shore, where the Ora funnels through so hard it's produced multiple freestyle world champions.

Getting thereWestern cliffs of Lake Garda, about 1h15 from Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN) via the SS45bis through the tunnels. A car is necessary, with parking strictly limited to a paid municipal multi-story lot inside the canyon village. Staging is organized through the local kite club's small pebble beach zone.
HazardsImmediate, ultra-deep water and vertical rock cliffs downwind leave no room for drift or error. Never launch here without a pre-arranged safety lift or boat shuttle from a local center โ the wind and lack of standing zones make self-rescue nearly impossible.
Best time of dayEarly morning for the N 'Peler' (6-10am) or afternoon for the S 'Ora' thermal (1-5pm). Morning Peler brings serious power and chop for advanced riders; afternoon Ora is more reliable and smoother for intermediate tracking.
