Good to know

Getting thereWestern cliffs of Lake Garda, about 1h15 from Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN) via the SS45bis through the tunnels. A car is necessary, with parking strictly limited to a paid municipal multi-story lot inside the canyon village. Staging is organized through the local kite club's small pebble beach zone.
HazardsImmediate, ultra-deep water and vertical rock cliffs downwind leave no room for drift or error. Never launch here without a pre-arranged safety lift or boat shuttle from a local center โ€” the wind and lack of standing zones make self-rescue nearly impossible.
Best time of dayEarly morning for the N 'Peler' (6-10am) or afternoon for the S 'Ora' thermal (1-5pm). Morning Peler brings serious power and chop for advanced riders; afternoon Ora is more reliable and smoother for intermediate tracking.
