HazardsA genuinely rapid river current runs opposite the wind, which artificially increases kite power but makes downwind body-dragging real risky. Launch requires solid control — the entry is tight, bordered by sharp rock levees and thorn bushes, and low power lines parallel the levee road downwind of the Baja Road launch, confirmed directly against local kiter accounts, not just assumed.
