The Prien shore of the Chiemsee, with a public slipway at the south end and a pier at the Strandbad, in water around a metre and a half deep with a climb to get back out. The Chiemsee licences motorboats strictly so it stays calm, but Prien-Stock is the lake's main ferry port — keep well away from the landing stages and the scheduled routes. Free public shower and toilets at the Strandbad, paid parking there, free parking about 1.5 km inland at the Kursaal.
