Getting thereSoutheastern Gran Canaria, about 20 minutes south of the airport via the GC-1 (Pozo Izquierdo exit). A car is essential; public street parking near the international windsurf centers. The narrow, rocky launch slipway directly in front of the main event stands is the primary access.
HazardsAn elite wave spot with a real, brutal shorebreak, jagged rocky shelves lining the entire bay, and wind that regularly screams past 35-40kt. True beginners should avoid this entirely — slippery stone entry steps, immediate deep water, and a launch error crashes your kite straight into concrete retaining walls.
