Getting thereAbout 1 hour south of Valencia Airport (VLC) via the AP-7. A car is required; free parking in dirt lots and streets behind the dunes at Playa Aigua Morta or Playa de Pau Pi. The widest legal launch is near the Oliva Nova resort beach stretch.
HazardsWide sand with few physical hazards, generally forgiving. In peak summer, kiters are restricted to narrow, legally mandated launch channels — missing these or riding among swimmers brings immediate police intervention.
Best time of dayAfternoon, when the thermal sea breeze builds predictably from the SE on warm days — typically turns on around 1pm for wide, clean, side-onshore paths with minimal wave interference.
