A headland spot on Masirah Island named for the gazebo landmark on the point, catching the same relentless Khareef wind as the rest of the island's west coast.

Getting thereNorthern coast of Masirah Island, about 20 minutes from the main Rafsah town center. A car reaches the gravel roads, but a 4x4 helps haul gear onto the sand flats; free parking near the small rocky headland. The wide sandy beach inlet is the primary launching area.
HazardsArtificial rock breakwaters, localized fishing boat mooring lines, and shallow coral reef patches expose at low tide. Watch for the fast transition to deep water past the sand shelf and stay clear of active fishing boat lanes near the harbor mouth.
Best time of dayAfternoon, when regional NW wind gets thermally accelerated by the island's interior heat. Steady side-onshore tracking, far better than the calm mornings.
