HazardsHeavy weekend crowds, plus artificial rock groynes, swimming piers, and high-speed motorized water sports traffic. Follow strict local regulations separating kitesurfers from crowded swimmer zones, and watch for sudden wind shadows close to shore.
Best time of dayAfternoon, when the regional NW Shamal wind is consistently reinforced by daytime thermal cooking over the flat desert plains. Peaks 2-5pm for world-class, steady tracking.
