Getting thereAbout 1h15 from both Alicante (ALC) and Valencia (VLC) airports via the AP-7. A car is recommended; street parking along Carrer Riu Serpis or adjacent beach roads gets competitive in summer. Main entry is Playa Les Deveses, near the designated wind sports zone.
HazardsThe sand launch area is fairly narrow, bordered by stone breakwaters and beachfront properties that create wind shadows near shore. Deep water starts quickly, and summer zoning strictly prohibits launching outside the narrow, buoyed kite channel.
Best time of dayAfternoon, May-September, when the thermal Llebeig or Garbí winds get compressed by local mountains into a steady side-shore flow. Check the local thermal forecast — this wind needs clear, hot days to build.
