Getting thereAbout 1 hour north of Valencia Airport (VLC) via CV-10 or AP-7. A car is preferred; free street parking and dirt lots along the Playa del Gurugú promenade. The official summer kite zone is clearly marked toward the northern end of the beach.
HazardsStone breakwaters flank the broader coastal zone — avoid them if drifting downwind. Wavy days bring a moderate shorebreak and real longshore current; riding inside the summer swimmer sanctuaries brings real municipal fines.
