A calm, olive-grove-backed bay on the Bodrum peninsula, more sheltered than Akyarlar and a good bet on lighter days.

Good to know

Getting thereAbout 40 minutes from Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV), 15 minutes from Bodrum town. A car helps for gear; paid public lots a short walk from the beachfront promenade are highly limited. The western hook of the bay near the windsurf centers is the primary rigging space.
HazardsThe enclosed bay creates genuinely gusty, turbulent wind close to shore from the surrounding hills and hotel buildings. Summer tourist season brings extreme density of anchored yachts, swimmers, and windsurf schools — real restrictions on kiting then, not just crowding.
Best time of dayMorning to early afternoon, when the regional Meltemi blows from the NW before valley topography shadows or disrupts it later in the day. Autumn/spring off-season gives far better access and fewer restrictions.
