The windiest corner of the Bodrum peninsula, a longtime windsurf hub that's just as good on a kite when the Meltemi funnels around the point.

Getting thereSouthwestern sector of the Bodrum peninsula, about 1 hour from Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV). A car helps for gear, though local dolmuş minibuses reach it too; limited paid street parking along the busy beachfront corniche. Staging is from tight sandy gaps or direct resort platform entries.
HazardsThe bay gets genuinely congested with anchored yachts, tourist catamaran excursions, and buoyed swimmer lines in summer, and kitesurfing is actively restricted by local maritime authorities here, not just crowded. Narrow sand space, real wind shadows from coastal hotels, and immediate deep water make this tough for true beginners.
Best time of dayMorning, when the prevailing NW Meltemi blows cleanly past the outer headlands before valley topography shadows or disrupts it later. Early sessions beat the intense summer resort heat and heavy swimmer traffic.
