Getting there30 minutes from Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA) via the N1. A car or local taxi is preferred for gear; extensive paid street parking along the Boulevard du 20 Août corniche. The wide public beach near the northern end of the bay gives the most direct access.
HazardsThe open crescent bay brings a real Atlantic shorebreak and lateral rip current that can drain energy fast. Watch for high concentrations of swimmers and jet skis in summer, and note there's no dedicated public kite rescue service.
Best time of dayAfternoon, May-September, when Moroccan interior heat creates a strong NW thermal sea breeze. Wind peaks after 2pm, turning morning swell into consistent cross-onshore bump-and-jump.
