Getting thereExmouth town is the base; main kite beaches (Sandy Bay etc.) sit inside Cape Range National Park — national-park entry fees apply. 4WD preferred for some southern accesses; Town Beach is more straightforward 2WD access.
HazardsShallow reef/rocks at several launches (booties recommended). Wind shadows and side-offshore components at Sandy Bay make it intermediate+. Strong tidal currents possible near channels.
