Getting thereMuharraq governorate, about 15 minutes from Bahrain International Airport (BAH). A car is needed to navigate the island complex; public street parking near Amwaj Marina or Kite Beach. The dedicated sandy stretch on the development's northern tip is the most reliable entry.
HazardsBounded by artificial rock walls, luxury villa jetties, and heavy weekend jet ski traffic. Solid upwind riding skills matter here to avoid drifting into the concrete residential sea walls or the deep commercial shipping channels flanking the island.
