Good to know

Getting thereAbout 200km south of Bangkok, roughly 2.5-3 hours by car, taxi, or train. A car isn't strictly necessary if staying central — walkable from Soi 71 or Soi 75; limited street parking or nearby mall lots. The wide sandy stretch opposite Market Village is the primary access.
HazardsWinter season exposes sharp hidden rocks at low tide in the northern sections, and jellyfish blooms can occur — schools often recommend protective clothing. High seasonal tides can swallow the entire launch beach, leaving little room for error near the concrete hotel seawalls.
Best time of dayAfternoon, March-May, when the Gulf of Thailand thermal generates a predictable, stable cross-onshore breeze. Time sessions with local tide tables to ensure enough sandy beach for safe launching.
