What this site stores on your device

Your favorite spots, your unit preference (knots/mph/km-h), and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Cookies & analytics

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage (pages viewed, general location, device type). If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may also set cookies to serve and measure ads. You can decline these in the cookie banner, and change your mind later by clearing your browser's site data.

Third-party services

Wind forecasts are requested from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) using only the coordinates of the spot you select — no personal data is sent. Map tiles are served by CARTO and OpenStreetMap. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Each of these services may log standard technical data such as your IP address, as any web request does.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
